i think one of the tool that can be used for this waste elimination is giving proper training.

Proper training means supervision and clear guideline for the employee by the employer.

By giving proper training, employees are motivated by knowing that the management do care and interested in what employee doing (eliminate the laziness) and also avoid the mistakes and error.

It's comments like that - "eliminate the laziness" - that causes most valuable employees to look somewhere else for jobs - it is very insulting that you think employees are lazy. Instead of taking any "lazy" employees aside and dealing with them, you just make general statements that laziness is a common trait. Our group works very hard and it causes bad morale when we see comments like this.

I think the above commentor is wrong, because we are all lazy. We are lazy because we are forced to stay until 11 p.m. because our bosses tell us to

Also, we just follow our Korean bosses who take smoke breaks every 15 minutes.

I am so sick and tired of waste elimination crap
what kind of bad company did we get this from? It sounds like something a really backwater company from some poor country would do
let's become real. Have you ever heard of GE doing waste elimination? Let's start making some real programs

If someone at higher designation is ineffective and inefficient by say 50%, his decision, his recomandation and his ability also has 50% potential. How do this organization have a plan to identify such reasorce and eleminate them ?
