Because LG's American employees understand the US culture and the subtleties of the language, they can help LG to better meet some of the goals outlined in this speech:

For example, use LG's American employees to help provide consumer insights for the US. Ask them to give opinions on current products, and to provide ideas for future products for the US.
"Consumer relationship... moment of truth... touch points... product manuals: are they easy to read?" LG's American employees can help in these areas for the US. For example, use LG's American employees to help write the product manuals in better English, and to comment on how easy it is for US customers to use the product manuals.
