I have talked to people that create reports. Every one of them said that managers make them change the reports to keep them from looking bad. I'm glad this is finally being addressed.
Honesty also means telling management when there is a problem and not covering it up. Managers hide problems from upper management because they are afraid of being blamed (scapegoated). Upper management must learn to work with lower management to solve problems together, instead of just looking for a manager to blame for everything. Managers will not be honest and tell their bosses what problems are happening, until their bosses stop blaming the managers for everything. LG will never become a great company until upper management knows what the problems are and helps to solve them without blaming.

Until employees can trust that they will not be fired for reporting these types of problems, we won't easily fix this.
If somebody reports a problem they may be "rewarded" by being fired.
