All the FSEs are not doing the necessary to fill their roles correctly to allow subsidiaries to work with LGE HQ. Moreover, FSEs are in charge of transfering the knowledge and they do not apply this principle. To conclude, the roles of FSE and others (managers, engineers, technicians, etc ...) have to be clearly defined to create an homogenous team to achieve projects in time to become n°1. This is a step to improve the communication and reduce the culture point of view.
Mr CEO, We have a passion for LG number 1 working as a team. FSE has a passion for number 1 but it's himself who wants to be number 1, no team work.
Not a day goes by without our FSE humiliating us and destroying our motivation. Productivity falls. Communication does not exist, why? because in FSE's imagination only he has the answers and solutions. We keep quiet because if we say anything he yells.
Mr. CEO you are absolutly right about CEO role, but every leader should aim to that role,
beside that many FSE are not fullfiling thet requirement, I agree, but not 100% on the other two anonymous comments, i mean not all of them
fortunatelly the two FSE that had been with me were bery close to the ideal role that you talk about and I know some others like these ones here in the same factory
The FSE's in our area are very inspirational and motivating. Daily they insult our intelligence, question every thought, and block any activities / suggestions we may have. I just dont know how we would manage without the world class standard of FSE's we get shipped to us.
Seems that FSE is an employee who proved to be useless (or even harmful) in his native company, and his boss got rid of him with pleasure by sending him abroad. In the new position he is still useless, but has much more authority and is out of control.
Nobody can make comments on the September 7 issue. When we click on "make a comment", the August 31 issue comes up for comments. How can LG make so many mistakes involving computers -- software problems, email problems, web site problems, in-house programming problems, etc. We are supposed to be a world class company. When female LG employees get married and change their name, LG can't even change their email address to match. It makes LG look really stupid to our customers.

A few FSEs are good but many are very bad. In factory they have no respect for human dignity for people who work under them.
