I am from Russia. Here, we are 'brand of people'. This is bad thing. We are like old Russia cars from communist era. People only buy LG because we sell at cheap price. We need what CEO says for our brand.

We have a different brand value in each country. It would be nice to see some global brand management that pushed us up and created the value the CEO is talking about.

Full agree, especially for the genetic home applicians. This is a good way to differentiate those products from other competitors.

Every time i read CEO message - i read about strategy, management, brand and so on. There is no words about engineers&development. Marketing and adverstisment are nothing without perfect products. LG have to focus on design ( how the product looks - chocolate phone was perfect in this aspect ) and functionality ( how product works). Only engineers can do this! Please pay attention for this.

By the way - my suggestion is to oopen internal collobaration site - by devisions - onw place for DA,one for DDM, one for MC and so on - that is the only way for great colobaration and ope-mind discussion. Is there any responsible person ? if yes - you may contact me anovoslesky@lge.com

Engineering, research, design, quality, and reliability are the most important for developing the customer's emotional attachment. Zenith was a leader in US television for many years, and millions of Americans had a strong emotional attachment to the Zenith name because of good designs, good quality, and good reliability. That's why Zenith's motto was, "The Quality Goes In Before The Name Goes On".

I agree with both commenters on the quality making the name good. Toyota and Honda have sufficiently displayed that. However, I think LGE already has pretty good quality on a lot of our products. I feel that as a company we lack most in the marketing and strategy area. Maybe that is why Mr. Nam emphasizes it so much. Maybe he agrees that we already doa great job on product develoopment nad quality. Good job engineers!

Yes, we product good in LGE. I especially think we use Korea component in all factories worldwide, so this is strong point. Other company use local component, so quality not good. We must use this strong point and sell more product.
