We are a global company and we shall give help when cyclone hits a country and make the situation global chaos. Congratulation to LGETH and any other who has helped in any way they can.
For a really major disaster like this one in Myanmar, LG should give employees in all subsidiaries worldwide a chance to help out. For example, many US employees would be willing to donate money for Myanmar.
The important thing is to ask employees for help right away, while the disaster is still on the news. Have the HR departments collect money from employees and send it to a particular location. Have them report to headquarters in Korea how much money was collected. Then Korea can tell all of us the total amount of money that was collected from LG employees. This will encourage more employees to donate the next time there is a major disaster.
Great work assisting this country which has been quite controversial. Ordinary citizens desperately needed help and LG was there! As the other comments indicate, more help will come
