Actually, I believe we pay more for our travel through expedia. Its not flexible enough to fit most of our travel schedule. Our dept. travel cost have been triple last few month due to expedia. It is so expensive compare to travelocity or other internet options. This is total waste of $$$ I believe analysis must be re-evaluated~~
I do not understand how come we saved 25% through expedia corporate travel system.
I had a business trip from US to LG Canada in Toronto two weeks ago. I had to pay over $300 more to expedia corporate.com ($1,100) than other internet travel sites($800).
It takes someone with a broader sense of understanding to realize the long term savings that the company as a whole will accumulate by using Expedia Corporate Travel. If you are concerned with saving a couple hundred dollars more than looking at the overall savings for LG, you are only looking at it in an individual perspective.
To whomever did that last post - that was insulting. I don't travel, so I have no comments on this issue - however, I do find the attitude shown in the comment above to be very typical - and totally against what our CEO is trying to teach us. Shutting down conversation with comments like that only broadens the gap between us all.
I agree. You need to talk about the issues and not attack the person with insulting comments like "it takes someone with a broader sense of understanding". If you are going to attack the person, you had better identify yourself and not hide behind the "anonymous" label.
