Applying lean stratagey in glboal level requires extremely sensible approach. Nonetheless, setting up a mission of R&D to be "very customer base" will significantly help to maximise the support to the lean strategy. However, there is always a trade-off: As we are limited in numbers and resources, we need to be divided into 2 parts, one to maintain previous customer, so we can run lean strategy on them, and the other part should work to reach beyond customer's imaginations. Therefore, we lead the global market with advanced features( edge technologies and beautiful designs). Now the question is here, for what percentage you concern to work for the main strategy(cutomer oriented)?
